v0.17.0 and v0.17.1 are published releases. Existing CLI spellings and storage compatibility remain supported. No migration is needed for the new browsing aliases.

Browsing and automation

Log and show now cover listing, search, recorded cost, and recalculated price. Unsupported flag combinations fail with exit 2. Output defaults are user-scoped; OPENTINE_OUTPUT overrides the settings file and explicit --json/--text overrides both. Review defaults when scripts expect human text.

Windows recorder and GC fixes

A delete-pending loose path now falls through to packed storage instead of being declared absent. Uncertain misses receive bounded rechecks; persistent failures still fail closed. Pack reads rescan on operating-system errors. A just-deleted lock resolving through Windows' deleted-file namespace is treated as normal GC contention, not a root escape.

Release artifacts are now installed and smoke-tested as the exact wheel and sdist on Linux, macOS, and Windows before publication.
