Upgrade to v0.16.2

Terminal
python -m pip install --upgrade "opentine==0.16.2"
tine --help
tine help --all
tine repo --help
tine trust policy list --json

v0.16.2 is the first published v0.16 release. v0.16.0 and v0.16.1 were not published after release checks caught storage races. Python 3.11–3.14 and existing storage compatibility remain unchanged; no migration is required for the command groups.

Grouped commands

repo groups setup, storage, and integrations; share groups transport and bundles; trust groups signing and policies; agent groups action queries alongside existing identity commands. Old spellings retain their arguments, outputs, and exit codes. Built-in group names take precedence over same-named aliases with a warning.

Terminal
tine repo storage du --json
tine share bundle verify review.tinebundle
tine agent who --program git --since 7d --json
tine trust keygen --help

tine --help presents everyday commands by section; tine help --all exposes the full surface. Direct tine verify FILE also detects a bundle when no other arguments are supplied. Repository show --json now preserves JSON output.

Trust and concurrent storage

Named user trust policies make verification roots reusable. Explicit flags override them; repositories cannot select or define roots. Review any user default because it can apply to a previously unconfigured verification invocation.

GC retries transient Windows sharing violations when removing packed loose objects. Pack lookup also rescans until a bounded listing completes during another process's pack merge, avoiding false missing-object errors on live recorder writes. The listing race can occur on Windows, Linux, and macOS.

See the official command mapping and storage compatibility table.
