v0.15.0 was published October 30; its changelog entry is dated October 29. Python 3.11–3.14 remains supported. Existing data back to v0.3 remains readable by the current release.

Review compatibility before writing

Compressed files and descriptor-v2 repositories require v0.11 readers. Storage v3 is opt-in through gc --upgrade and requires v0.13; gc --downgrade returns it to v2. Catalog /3 requires v0.11 and domain-separated v2 catalog signatures require v0.12. See the storage compatibility table before sharing data with an older installation.

Repository dispatch and trust

Plain show/diff/tag/log now prefer a discovered repository; file paths and legacy IDs retain file behavior. Use --legacy when the distinction matters. Aliases, hooks, agent pins, and fleet manifests require local trust; clones cannot silently enable them.

New operational surfaces

The self-hosted remote now stores TINEAES4 objects and negotiates compressed transfer packs. Follow the tagged reseal procedure before rolling a server back. Current prune behavior is conservative and fails on unreadable reachable state.

v0.16 command groups and named trust policies are unreleased source work. All current examples here use v0.15 spellings.
